In 2011 Bristol Motor Club will celebrate its 100th year.

We are planning a number of events to mark the occasion, but the main event will be a weekend celebration combined with the Dick Mayo Sprint. This will be especially appropriate given our association with Castle Combe Circuit, which we opened to motor racing in 1950.

Centenary Event 25/26 June 2011

The sprint itself will feature a class for historically significant vehicles, and celebrations will extend into the evening with entertainment and food. Camping will be permitted overnight, and Sunday will see further activities. There will be demonstrations of vehicles covering 100 years of motoring and motor sport and, not forgetting our origins as a motorcycle club, there will be two-wheeled displays as well.

The full programme for the weekend is still to be finalised, but you will see from the above it will be worth an early entry into your diary for next year!
