MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

FROM 1st OCTOBER 2009

At the Club's General Meeting in May 2009, it was agreed that from 2010 the annual subscription would go up to £16. This is to help combat falling interest rates on our deposits, and a slight reduction in revenues from events. The Associate Member rate goes up to £8, and Life Membership to £160.

To renew your membership, you can either download the form and post it with a cheque or Reward Vouchers, or you may renew your membership right here, online.

However, if you wish to use BMC Reward Vouchers in payment or part-payment for your subscription, please renew by post in the traditional way. It has not been possible to devise a simple online system for this, due to the combination of different membership types and the variable number of vouchers that may be submitted.

PLEASE NOTE that vouchers dated 2006 and earlier are not valid, and those issued in 2007 will not be valid after December 2009.

ONLINE RENEWAL

If your renewal is straightforward apart from a change of address or phone number, then renew online but please also send an email with the change information to membership@bristolmc.org.uk.

You do not need a PayPal account to use this service; you may pay with a credit or debit card - or your PayPal account if you have one. Whichever you choose, a small additional handling fee will be added to cover PayPal fees; the total is shown automatically when you select your renewal type below.

The process is very straightforward:

1. Select your renewal type from the drop-down

2. Enter your Membership Number (if you can find your last card) or Postcode (if you can't)

3. Click Add to Cart - this will take you to a PayPal Shopping Cart page, where you can change quantities or delete items. If you want to add another item, click "Continue Shopping" and repeat the process; otherwise "Proceed to Checkout".

4. In the payment page, just click "Continue" to use your credit card or log in to your PayPal account, if you have one.

You will be returned to the Bristol MC website when the process is finished, and you will also be sent a confirmatory email.
