Feel Good Friday: 1960 Roy Fedden Trophy

On this day in 1960, it was reported that we ran the Roy Fedden Trophy Trial at Bristol International Airport.  It’s amazing to think we ran events at the airport 65 years ago, yet more amazingly, we ran a racing circuit there in the 1950s!  Just like this year, The Fedden ran last weekend on Remembrance Sunday.  The winner, C.W. Pollard, dropped a whopping 121 marks, so the hills must have been tricky that year.  Like it is today, the event was a round of the British Championship.
