Joe Clemow Dominates Kemble Thriller, Tightens Junior Autosolo Championship Lead!
Kemble Airfield played host to a spectacular Round 2 of the 2025 Bristol Junior Autosolo Championship on Sunday, April 13th, and it was Joe Clemow who emerged as the undisputed star of the show. Clemow’s consistent speed across all four tests, leading each one, was truly impressive and sets a high benchmark for his competitors securing a maximum 25 points for the round.
Archie Laurence and George Thompson both had strong showings in Round 2, each adding 20 and 18 points to their Round 1 scores of 18 and 20 respectively. This leaves them neck and neck in the overall standings with 38 points apiece, firmly in the chase and demonstrating impressive consistency across the opening two rounds.
Finn Walker also delivered a solid performance, earning 14 points in Round 2 to add to his Round 1 tally of 16, bringing his total to 30 points. He remains a strong contender and will be looking to close the gap to the leading trio.
Ruben Hutt, after scoring 14 points in the first round, added another 12 points at Kemble, placing him on 26 points overall. While he faced a tougher challenge in Round 2 due to the less damp weather and his winter tyres, compared to the frontrunners, his experience will be valuable as the season progresses.
While he didn’t enter round one, Patrick Osiak is not a newcomer to autosolos, his strong performance at Kemble earned him a well-deserved 16 points, instantly placing him in the midfield on the championship board.
Lucas Mees and Aidan Walker experienced their very first Autosolo events at Kemble. Lucas secured a respectable 10 points, while Aidan managed 9, a fantastic start to their Autosolo journeys!
