As a Full Member, you’ll have a copy of the regular club magazine Driving Mirror posted directly to your home. In it you will find news and comment from within the club, details of forthcoming sporting and social events, plus anecdotes, experiences and advertisements from members. If you prefer, you may choose not to have a printed copy and just read the online version, which is available on this website.
A partner and/or other family members living at the same address can have Associate Membership for the additional sum of only £10 each. Associate Members enjoy the same privileges and benefits as Full Members, with the exception that they do not receive a separate copy of the club magazine. Annual membership lasts for a calendar year, i.e. to the end of December, but if you are a new member and apply from 1 October onwards, your membership will run to the end of the following year.
A child up to and including the age of 18 at the time of renewal, living at the same address as a Full Member can have Junior Membership for free. Junior Members enjoy the same privileges and benefits as Full Members, with the exception that they do not receive a separate copy of the club magazine.

We’ve now gone fully electronic for our membership cards. These can be downloaded from my.bristolmc.org.uk, clicking on the Membership heading and then My Membership. Personally I save mine as a picture on my phone which I can then present when signing on at events. Failing that they can be printed out however be warned if you don’t select a small paper printer size they will come out as A4…!
Before completing the application form, you are recommended to familiarise yourself with the Club Rules and Bye-Laws – you will be asked to confirm that you have read them during the application process. Should you need to refer back to them at any time they are permanently available on this page, and in the Reference section.
If you have previously been a member you may have earned Reward Points which can be redeemed as full or part payment for your membership subscription. More information about the scheme and also the current RP points table is available on the Reward Points page on this website.
