Marshal Reminder – Great Western Sprint (In memory of Chris Bigwood) – 18th October 2025
Dear All,
Saturday 18th October 2025 sees Bristol Motor Club hold our popular Great Western Sprint around the fabulous Castle Combe circuit.
This will be the 17th time that we will run the Great Western Sprint which is one of the longest sprints in the country. The sprint course will be 1¾ laps of the racing circuit. The start is at the pit lane exit, the finish at Westway on the second lap.
As always we need our own ‘Orange Army’ to be able to run the event and would be really grateful if you could volunteer to support us on the day.
We’re looking for experienced marshals, new marshals and marshals from other disciplines or venues that fancy giving a Sprint at Castle Combe a go. We’d pair any inexperienced Sprint marshals with those that are experienced as sharing the knowledge and fun is what we’re all about.
In return for your support we’ll be able to offer you one of the best views in the house, lunch from the onsite Club House Café and 5 Reward Points to use towards Bristol Motor Club membership, future events or merchandise.
