New Marshals’ Post
Welcome,
As you may appreciate, NONE of our events could run without the support and tireless commitment of our dedicated volunteers & especially the MARSHALS who generously give their time to help ensure that events run safely & smoothly on the day and who are collectively known as the ‘Orange Army’.
In light of this requirement and to help reach out to potential volunteers who may consider helping support our upcoming events, we have created a dedicated ‘Marshals’ Post’ page to help centralise information and provide an initial contact to be able to get involved.
The Marshals Post page can be found Here and is also copied below.
You can also go to our BMC Home page and subscribe to receive future Marshalling related updates by filling out the Newsletter signup and selecting the Marshalling option;
Marshals’ Post

Motorsport UK Website :- Marshals
“Volunteer marshals are the beating heart of UK motorsport. Proudly standing out in their orange overalls or marshals’ tabards, they are vital to the safe and effective running of events all over the country.
For anyone who is passionate about motorsport but does not necessarily want to get behind the wheel, becoming a marshal is a great way to get close to the action.”
We, at Bristol Motor Club, organise and run several events during the year, none of which would be able to run without the generous support of volunteer marshals.
As a club, we are constantly on the lookout for volunteers to help run our events and to encourage this endeavour, listed below are our upcoming events with the relevant points of contact should you wish to get involved.

Irrespective if you are experienced or new to marshalling you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome, the chance to help the club and to form part of a most important team. Without the relevant number of marshals our events simply can not run. We need to cover the various marshal locations around a circuit/event and also have on the day requirements around the paddock, assembly areas and start line. If you are trackside you will be allocated a dedicated marshal post, at least one colleague with you for support & the best seat in the house, close to the action.
There are also options for MSUK training to progress your marshalling qualifications if so desired.
For most of these events we will also reward you with 10 BMC reward points per event (for club members) and also a free lunch when attending events held at the two fixed circuits!
