Wayback Wednesday: Autocross in Horton
On this day in 1962, the Evening Post reported on our Autocross at Horton, near Old Sodbury. It was an event jointly organised with our long standing friends at Bristol Pegasus Motor Club. A timed event around a grassy 1000 yard course with two timed runs for each competitor. Ken Haskell was the star of the day in his Lotus Ford. Not content with the Lotus tuning, he bolted some Cosworth tuning on top of that. Two seconds was his margin. Dominant.
